Adil Baguirov Has Led Dayton Schools to Improvement
Throughout his 2013 campaign for Dayton Public Schools’ Board of Education, where he ran as a reformer, Adil Baguirov made three very important, yet very basic, campaign promises. The most important promise was to bring to the school system a better cultural and academic curriculum. They simply had to do something different, given that they were, for decades, among the worst districts in Ohio and they were developing a reputation as one of the worst in the country.

Given his background, Adil Baguirov had a lot to offer a school district like Dayton’s. He built a premier logistics and transportation companies in Dayton, and he also is a very prominent commercial real estate investor in the city, and he has visibility among the business community in the region. He had plenty of other experience that informs him as a member of the Dayton Public Schools’ Board, including his participation in a large number of academic conferences, and his lecturing at several universities. To top that off, he was active with a number of think tanks.
